Why Amaze Works For Students

Science You Can See

Light, sound, perception and attention are on stage all night. Students watch principles they study in class do work in front of a live audience.

Media Literacy In Practice

Amaze is built on misdirection and framing. It gives students a safe, honest laboratory for asking how they were convinced of something that was not true.

Theater Arts And Design

Lighting, sound, staging and pacing are all deliberate choices. Older students can watch the show through a single design lens and report back.

Built For One Field Trip

2 hours 15 minutes including intermission, all ages welcome, and a guide sized for one pre-show lesson and one post-show task.

Curriculum Guides

Free, downloadable and graded. Each guide includes a pre-show lesson, key vocabulary, structured observation prompts for during the performance, a post-show discussion, one classroom activity and standards alignment.
